Bernice Viola Heagatter

Bernice Heugatter, 91, of Rosebud, died Saturday, November 5, 2011 in a Belton Nursing Home. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wed., Nov. 9, 2011 at First Lutheran Church in Rosebud. Rev. Walter Chelmo officiating. Burial followed in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.

Mrs. Heugatter was born May 16, 1920 near Cameron to Walter and Lillie Kuhn Strickler. She married Richard Heugatter on September 26, 1943. She lived in Houston for 34 years and moved to Rosebud in 1989. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by three sons: Wayne Heugatter of Temple, Leslie Heugatter of Spring, and Larry Heugatter of St. Louis, MO

6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren

Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church.

Visitation was held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
