Christine C. Slavik

Funeral  services for Christine C. Slavik, age 94, of Cameron, were held at 1 P M Tuesday, at the St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Marak, with Father Walter Matus officiating. A Rosary was recited at 7:00 p m Monday at the Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial followed in the Marak Cemetery.

Mrs. Slavik died Saturday in a Cameron nursing facility following an illness. She was born June 22, 1917, in Ratibor, Texas, to Michael and Annie Bartek Ondreas, and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Slavik was preceded in death by her husband, Bohuslav “Buck”  Slavik and her son, Raymond Slavik.

Survivors:

Son: William “Billy” Slavik of Burleson

Daughters: Carolyn “Cookie” Austin and Joann Tatum, both of Cameron
