James Davis

James Davis, 68, of Rosebud, died Friday, March 2, 2012 in a Temple Hospital. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Bob Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Barclay Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was born June 23, 1943 in Lott to Jesse and Mollie Jennings Davis. He lived in the Rosebud and Lott area all of his life. He worked as a farmer and was a member of New Beginnings Full Gospel Tabernacle in Cameron.
He is survived by two sisters: Oleta McCormick and husband Travis of Temple and Shirley Padgett of Rosebud.
One Brother: Jerry Davis and wife Margaret of Rosebud.
Viewing began at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
