James "Jimmy" William Bennett, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. James William “Jimmy” Bennett, Jr. age 49, of Cameron, were held at 11:00 a m Thursday in the Kathryn W. Green chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with Mark Miller officiating. Burial followed in Powers Chapel in Rosebud. Mr. Bennett died Tuesday in a Temple hospital following an illness.
Mr. Bennett was born October 12, 1963, in Houston, Texas, to James and Beulah Cason Bennett Sr., and had worked as a security guard for the Texas Department of Corrections. Mr. Bennett graduated from Sam Houston High School in Houston, and was a member of the Church of Christ.
