Services for Mae Ola Coker, 92, of Rosebud, TX will be 1 PM November 9, 2013 at Cook, Gerngross, Green, Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud with Loren Quick & LaRon Branson officiating. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.
Mae Ola died November 2, 2013 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX. She was born April 3, 1921 in Cedar Springs, TX to Hardy & Sallie (Carter) Radford. On September 23, 1937 she married Lester Comer Coker in New Salem and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1991.
Survivors include their five children and spouses. Barbara Jean & Roger Jensen of Florence, OR, Betty Lou & Wylie (Butch) Homesley of Moses Lake, WA, James Raymond & Jan Coker of Fairfield, TX, David Edwin & Brenda Coker of Rosebud, TX and Clara Faye & Lloyd Hickerson of Corsicana, TX.
She also had 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Visition will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Cook, Gerngross, Green, Patterson Funeral Home.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to her caregivers at her home, Cameron Nursing Center in Cameron and Scott & White Hospital and Hospice staff for their support during her final days.
