Charles "Chuck" Glynn Horne

Charles “Chuck” Glynn Horne, YNC(SW) Retired USN died December 31, 2013 at his home in Cameron, Texas. Chuck was born November 15, 1950 in Jackson, MS and was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast until January 2008 when he moved to Cameron, TX. He was a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer and a former member of the Gulfport Police Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Edgar Horne and Dora Frances Aaron and a brother George E. Horne Jr.

He is survived by his three daughters: Cortney and husband Randy Gibson of Long Beach, MS; Christina and husband Alan Schultz of Caledonia, MS; and Jennifer and husband Andy Layne of Cameron, TX and a step-daughter Maghan and husband Aaron Foos of Gulfport, MS. Chuck had five grandchildren: Allison and Cody Gibson, Robert “Bobby” Schultz and Anthony and McKenzee Layne.

Memorial services will be held Friday January 3, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
