Gilbert Raabe

Gilbert Raabe, 72, of Rosebud, died Friday, January 24, 2014, in a Temple Hospital. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Terry Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Barclay Cemetery.
Mr. Raabe was born September 9, 1941 in Cameron to John and Annie Lindemann Raabe. He lived in the Rosebud area all of his life. He graduated from Rosebud High School and married Betty Newby on August 12, 1966. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife: Betty Raabe of Rosebud
One son: Jeb Raabe and wife Tammy of Rosebud
One daughter: Lisa Hoff and husband Leslie of Rosebud
5 Grandchildren: Lucas Hoff and wife Alicia, Lacy Hoelscher and husband Hagen, Jake Raabe, Jenna Raabe and Latham Hoff
Memorial may be made to Salem Lutheran Church or the Alzheimers Association.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
