Jimmy Edgar Jackson

Memorial Services for Mr. Jimmy Edgar Jackson, 69, of Marlin, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May, 3, 2014, in Cook-Gengross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. John Self officiating.  Mr.Jackson died on April 22, 2014 in a Waco hospital.

He was born on April 23, 1944 in Jones Prairie, Texas to Steve and Etoy (Smith) Jackson.  Mr. Jackson grew up in Cedar Springs, worked as farmer, trucker and night watchman for the City of Lott.  He lived in Marlin for the past twenty-five years, married Dorothy Margoitta in 1974, who preceded  him in death in 2000.

Brothers: Gary Jackson (Judy) of Waco, Roy Jackson (Mary) of Lott and Raymond Jackson (Betty) of Hickory, MS

Sister: Barbara Martin (Larry) of Cleveland

Grandsons: Connor & Patrick Murphy
