James "Jimmy" Fredrick Kunz

Mr. James Fredrick “Jimmy” Kunz, age 88, of Cameron, died Tuesday, in a Cameron nursing facility, following an illness. A funeral mass with Father Dimitrij Colankin officiating, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 15 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, and a rosary with Deacon Earl Colley reciting, will be held at 7:00 p m Thursday, August 14, in the chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.

Mr. Kunz was born April 23, 1926, in Bryan, Texas, to August G. and Antonia Polzer Kunz, and was retired from a wood working shop. Mr. Kunz was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charles Kunz. Mr. Kunz was a member of the St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron.

Survivors include three brothers; August George Kunz Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, Peter Francis “Pete” Kunz of Cameron and Paul Anton Kunz of Bryan
