Dennis Sapp

Funeral services for Mr. Arvel Dennis Sapp, age 61, of Burlington, will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 22, at the Pebble Grove Cemetery, near Maysfield, with minister Alton Baker officiating. Mr. Sapp died Thursday September 18, 2014, in a Cameron hospital, following a brief illness.

Mr. Sapp was born February 20, 1953, in Cameron, to Arvel and Victoria McFarland Sapp, and was a retired heavy equipment operator. Mr. Sapp worked for Sandhill Construction for many years and was retired from DIJ Construction in Bertram, Texas. Mr. Sapp was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Sapp, one son, Dennis L. Sapp of Cameron, and one daughter, Donna Sue Tabor of Cameron. Also surviving are three sisters, Janice Tirado of Bryan; Mary McIrvin of Bryan; and Janie Clark of Athens. Mr. Sapp is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.


Family visitation will be held Sunday, September 21, from 4-6 pm at Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
