Carl Elbert Erwin

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Liberty Cemetery near Milano for Mr. Carl Elbert Erwin, 63, of Austin. Mr. Erwin died Sunday, May 17, at an Austin hospital, after an illness. He was a retired construction contractor. Rev. David Walker will officiate.

Mr. Erwin is survived by his mother, Valeara Bates; his life partner, Melanie Nelson; one daughter, Carol Ann Erwin and one brother, Jimmie Don Bates all of Austin. He is also survived by two step-sons Marshall Allen Spears of Georgetown and James Michael Spears of Austin. Mr. Erwin was preceded in death by his father, Robert Walter Erwin and one sister, Margaret Erwin James.

Visitation will be from 11-12 Wednesday at Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
