Billy Floyd Dodson

Mr. Billy Floyd Dodson, 79, of Lexington, formerly of Cameron, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015, at a Temple hospital. A memorial service for Mr. Dodson is scheduled for Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home, with O. E. Davidson officiating.

Mr. Dodson was born August 9, 1936 to Floyd Bentley and Jewel Adcock Dodson. He is a 1954 graduate of C. H. Yoe High School and served in the United States Army. Mr. Dodson is retired from Alcoa after being employed there for many years. He was a member of Cameron Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Dodson of Lexington; one son, Shane Dodson of Pasadena, Tx.; two daughters, Danica Lara of Cameron and Velvet Dodson of Temple. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3-4 on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
