Jesus V Aguilera

Jesus V “Jesse” Aguilera, 77, of Durango, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, in a Waco Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Union Cemetery in Durango. John Michalak officiating.
Mr. Aguilera was born February 13, 1939 in San Jose Viborillas, Guanajuato, Mexico to Jose and Maria Vazquez Aguilera. He played semi-pro baseball in Mexico and remained an avid fan his entire life. He immigrated to Texas and worked on turkey farms for Fletcher and Swift and Company. He later worked for the Jacques Cattle Ranch in Durango , where he was a trusted and hardworking employee for over 30 years.
He is survived by two brothers, Jose and Luis Aguilera and numerous friends and extended family.
Viewing will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
