Debra Carothers

Debra Carothers, 64, of Marlin, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016, in a Marlin Nursing Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Bill Perdue officiating. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.
Mrs. Carothers was born July 5, 1952 in Luling to Joe and Lorraine Lambert Homola. She lived in Falls County for the past 30 years. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland and was a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lott.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Lynn Steele of Waco

One Brother: Joe Homola Jr. of Midland
Four Sisters: Amy Vandiver and Darla Murray both of Lott, Tammie Featherston of Murchison, and Malinda Redmon of Monahans

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
