Barbara Little

Barbara Little, 94 of Rosebud, died Saturday May 16, 2026 at her residence. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Duane Brooks will officiate. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.

Mrs. Little was born on July 4, 1931 in Houston to Henry and Edna Meyer Osminer. She married Joseph Everitt Little on March 15, 1969. She owned the Little Country Café in Rosebud. She also worked for the Marlin Independent School District.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Jerry Everitt Little, one daughter, JoAnn Corl, and two grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Leslie Little and wife Nadia of Vancouver, Washington, and Richard Little and wife Barbara of Durham, North Carolina, two daughters, Mary Miranda and husband Arthur of Houston, and Robin Reyna and husband Ben of Rosebud, two sisters, Kimberly Doskocil and husband Bobby of Seaton, and Robin Ventresca and Cleon of Temple, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
