Beverly C. Williams

Beverly C. Ocker Williams, 84, of Rosebud, Texas passed away on July 12, 2025, at home surrounded by her family and friends.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Rev. Judy Gotcher officiating.

Beverly was born on April 4, 1941 to George A. Ocker and Geraldine McAtee Ocker.

She graduated from Rosebud High School in 1959 and then attended St. Paul School of Nursing in Dallas, Texas and graduated in 1962 as a registered nurse.

She married Charles L. (Chile) Williams on October 30, 1963 in Verona, Italy.

She enjoyed her nursing career for 44 + years with the last 17 years at Kings Daughters Hospital in Temple, Texas before retiring.

She enjoyed bowling on the Silver Strikers and Primetimer’s Leagues for several years. Also enjoyed going to Decorah, Iowa with her children to see the fledging of the baby eagles that she enjoyed watching on the live camera’s while the eagles were nesting and waiting for the hatching of the baby eagles.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Chile) Williams, father George Ocker, mother Geraldine Ocker-Hash and step-father Frank Hash.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Williams Maruna and husband Mark of Belton, and two sons, Charles (Bubba) Williams and wife Joanne of Rosebud, and Mark Williams and wife Alisa of Parkton, NC. She is also survived by a brother Michael Ocker and wife Elaine of Rosebud. She also has five grandchildren, Cory Maruna, Chance Maruna, Chris Williams, Layne Williams and Katelynn Williams, three great-grandchildren, Brayden Maruna, Nova Maruna and Serinity Maruna.

Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
