Carol Hensley

Mrs. Carol Hensley, 85, of Milano, passed away June 30, 2019, in a Temple hospital. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 3 at 10:00 a.m. at the Milano Cemetery with Rev. Don Fulton officiating.

Carol was born February 11, 1934 in Leavenworth, KS, to Marvin Paul and Margaret (Higdon) Johnson.  She received a BSN degree from Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, TX., and worked as a nurse for over 25 years in Rockdale and Big Baylor Hospital in Dallas, and as a rehabilitation nurse at Baylor Rehab.  She was a Catholic.

Survivors include her husband, Aaron King of Milano, daughter, Mari Russell Kopecki and husband Chad, of Dallas, TX, and one step-son, Mike King and wife, Colleen of Rockdale. Also surviving are numerous step-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Kenneth Donald Hensley of Milano, in 2001; two sons, John Michael Russell and James Richard Russell, Jr., both of Dallas, and one sister, Dorothy Johnson.
