Cathy Lynn Enrriquez -Huff

Cathy Lynn Enrriquez, born Cathy Lynn Huff, passed away on August 19, 2026, in Cameron, Texas. She was born on May 9, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will be remembered for her lively spirit, her love of family, her stubbornness or, as her family lovingly called it, being a hard-headed Huff,and the joy she brought to those around her.

Cathy was known as the life of the party, someone whose presence could brighten a room and draw people together with laughter and warmth. She loved fishing and spending time outdoors, finding happiness in simple moments and in the natural world. To many, she was also affectionately known as the “Crazy Cat Lady,” a nickname that spoke to her fondness for animals and the unmistakable personality that made her so memorable.

Above all, Cathy treasured her family. She is survived by her daughter, Cody Allen; her sons, Casey Gibson and Tyler Glore; her brothers, Michael Huff and Richard Huff; and her sister, Patsy Waters. Her family was further blessed through her legacy in the lives of her 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward a part of her love, energy, and spirit.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Paul Huff, her mother, Edna Johns Huff, her sister Mary Jane Huff, and brother Patrick Huff.

Cathy Lynn Enrriquez will be remembered with affection for her vibrant nature, her love of the outdoors, her devotion to family, and the unmistakable way she made life more colorful for those who knew her. Her memory will remain a lasting presence in the hearts of all who loved her.
