Dennis Wayne Hurley, 62, of Rogers, passed away in his home due to natural causes.

Dennis was born on June 17, 1963, in Madison, Wisconsin, to his parents Judy and Raymond Hurley, Sr. His family soon after, moved to Texas. He was the oldest of six children born to Judy.

Most of that time was spent working on the cardiac floor 2K at the VA Hospital in Temple. He was an avid dog lover and shared his home with many animals throughout his life. He was known to be a very forthright and straightforward person and had a very “bold” sense of humor, as commemorated by his eldest daughter.

Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Nathan Nabours, his grandmother Ruby Davee, his first wife Stella Hurley, his niece Angel Macias, as well as his father.

Dennis was survived by his beloved daughters, Janis Housewright of Temple, and Rebecca Hurley of Georgia. His mother, Judy Wilson and step-father Rodger of Cameron. His wife Donna Hurley and step-children Joey and Billie Quinn. Siblings Raymond Hurley, Jr. and Larry Hurley of Temple, Amber Davison of Temple, Kelli Woolsey and husband Brian of Killeen, Teresa Macias and husband John of Kingsland.
