Dorothy Davlin, passed away on December 11, 2025, in Cameron, Texas, at the age of 84. Born on April 3, 1941, in Waco, Texas, she lived a life rich in experiences and devoted to those she loved.
Dorothy, ventured through multiple careers, with her hard work and dedication. Her passion for life and her unwavering spirit was felt by all who knew her.
She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly. Her children, Charles Davlin Jr. and Jonni; Larry Davlin and Ione; and Dottie Hosea and Tommy, cherish the countless memories they created with their mother. Dorothy is also survived by her brothers, William "Jabo" Robinson, Sam Robinson and Buddy Robinson, as well as her sisters, Shelia Norman and Katie Robinson. Each of them holds dear the warmth and love she bestowed upon them throughout her life.
Dorothy's departure is mourned not only by her family but also by her late son, Robert Davlin Sr., who predeceased her, and her parents, George Larson and Dorothy Harper Larson, who shaped her early years. She also remembered her late brother, George Earl Larson, who shared in her life’s journey.
As we reflect on Dorothy's rich legacy, we honor her endless capacity to nurture and love those around her. Her kindness, strength, and resilience will remain in the hearts of her family and friends, etched into their memories forever.
