Helen Coble

Helen Coble, 93 of Marlin, died Thursday August 6, 2026 in a Waco Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud. Rev. Don Fulton will officiate.

Mrs. Coble was born on September 8, 1932 near Rosebud to Frank and Clara Lee McIntosh Stimmel. She married C.D. Hogg on April 30, 1949 and James Coble on April 29, 2001. She was a certified nursing assistant. Helen was an avid card and domino player. She loved working in her garden and visiting various casinos.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, one son, Kenneth Hogg and seven siblings.

She is survived by two sons, Chad Hogg and wife Melody of Lott, and Larry Hogg of Bremond, one daughter, Sharon Childre and husband Steve of Marlin, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
