Joanna Williams

Joanna Williams, 79 of Rosebud, died Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in a Waco Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud. Rev. Stephen Stanford will officiate.

Mrs. Williams was born on April 9, 1946 in Houston. She graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1964. She married Tom Williams Sr. on November 27, 1964. She lived most of her life in Diboll. She worked as a payroll clerk for Temple Inland and as a Library secretary for Angelina Junior College. She taught Ladies Bible Study for 50 years at First Baptist Church in Diboll and at First Baptist Church in Rosebud. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rosebud.

She was preceded in death by her husband and by her daughter, Amy Kathleen Reeves.

She is survived by two sons, Tom Williams Jr. of Temple and Joseph Williams and wife Lacy of Lott, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren

Memorials may be made to Powers Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
