Marilyn Ejem, 86 of Westphalia, died Sunday April 19, 2026 at her residence. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia. Rev. Ranjan Cletus will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westphalia.
Mrs. Ejem was born on October 11,1939 in Westphalia to Charles and Odelia Hoelscher Kleypas. She graduated from Lott High School. Her former husband was Raymond Earl Lee Sr. and later she married Albert “Pete” Ejem. She worked for the Western Fair in Lott and was the Falls County Treasurer for 20 years. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation. She had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed working in her flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ejem.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Lee and wife Jennifer of Westphalia, Raymond Earl Lee Jr. of Westphalia, two daughters, Joan Lee of Westphalia and Jean Moeller and husband Lewis of Rosebud, one brother, Lynwood Kleypas and wife Jet of Westphalia, seven grandchildren, Bethani Webre and husband Kyle, Rachael Marek and husband Michael, Regan Wenzel and husband Dolph, Nicholas McCann, Melody McCann, Madeleine Castillo and husband Jacob and Landon Voltin, three great-grandchildren, Rhettlee Marek, Elliott Wenzel, and Callahan Webre.
Memorials may be made to the Westphalia Historical Society or to Celebration Park in Westphalia
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patteson Funeral Home in Rosebud. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
