Mckinley Washington Jr.

McKinley (MC)  Washington Jr. 65, of Rosebud, died Saturday, March 12, 2022, in a Temple Hospital. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. ,  Saturday, April 2, 2022, in the D Brown Library in Rosebud. Rev Michael Smith will officiate.

Mr. Washington was born October 5, 1956 in Marlin to McKinley and Magnolia Rose Washington. He attended Rosebud-Lott Schools and worked as a Plumber. He loved gardening, family, and family gatherings. He was a member of Independent Baptist Church in Rosebud.

He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters, Estella Faulkner, Adolph Gee, Carl Rose, Columbus Roberson, and Mary Young.

He is survived by 4 sisters, Ida Washington of Rosebud, Frenchie Hamilton and Lula Smith and husband Michael, both of Dallas, and Vanessa Gee of Seagoville, 2 brothers, Willie Gee and wife Qunitka of Mesquite and Jamie Gee of DeSota.

Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
