On September 18, 2025, Patsy Iris Heugatter of Montgomery, Texas when to be with Lord.
Patsy Iris was born March 1, 1941, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Walter Edward McPherson and Ola Francis (Hays) McPherson. She was the youngest daughter of the family with 4 sister’s, Imogene, Geraldine, Bonnie, Winona, and 6 brother’s Randall, Wayne, Vern, Billy, Ronnie and Rickey. Still living are her brothers, Vern McPherson and Rickey McPherson.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 31 years, Frank D. Heugatter, her children Susan (James) Alexander, Jason (Leah) McClelland, Lisa (Mark) Lane, David Heugatter, Stephen Heugatter and Gerald Heugatter, grandchildren, Lauren (Hayden) Farmer, Jarrod (Abby) Kern, Corey (Sara) Alexander, Tracey (Alan) McLauchlan, Jordan (Blaine) Waters, Justin McClelland, Brianna an Kari Bernard, and Christopher Heugatter, great grandchildren Laurel an Harvey Farmer, Lily, Sophie an Isabel Alexander, Sierra (Jesse) Mach, Chloe Brown, Aila and Lanie McLauchlan, and Gentry Parrish.
Patsy loved the Lord and was active in her local church. She loved her family, friends and spending time with them. She loved singing hymns and her favorite songs where “Because He Lives”, and “All Rise”.
In her Bible was found handwritten of her Morning Prayer:
Dear Lord,
As I start this new day, please help me to find:
Enough discipline to accomplish today’s tasks.
Enough happiness to share with everyone I meet.
Enough sorrow to teach me compassion.
Enough success to give me encouragement.
Enough failure to keep me humble.
Enough trials to strengthen my character.
Enough hope to broaden my horizons.
Enough friends to relieve my loneliness.
Enough wealth to fill my needs.
Enough enthusiasm to inspire my neighbors.
Enough faith to overcome doubt.
Enough thoughtfulness to prevent selfishness.
An enough determination to make each new day better than yesterday.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 1 pm at Green-Patterson Funeral Home 2701 N. Travis Avenue, Cameron, Texas 76520.
